Some of you may have noticed that my blog has not been as active in the past few weeks and that is because I haven't been running as much. If you've been able to read between the lines, you might have figured out a few clues here and there.
I
DNFed my first half marathon.
I didn't drink any beer at the
half marathon after party or the
Chicago Marathon kickoff event.
I backed out of running a spring
marathon.
I have a secret that I've had such a hard time keeping from all of you for this long... I now have something in common with Lauren Fleshman
and Kate Middleton. And that is....
I'm Pregnant.
I'm hoping not to turn this into a pregnancy blog, but let's be honest. It will be really hard for that not to happen. BUT, I will keep the recipes (and my awesome food photography) coming and I will run for as long as I can! I hope you'll stick around for the ride! :)
OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!! KELLY CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My jaw DROPPED in my cube and I GASPED when I read this!! I AM SO happy for you!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteCan baby Wilson just come NOW!!!
so ridiculously EXCITED for you!!!!
ReplyDeleteYAY! I'm so excited for your new little athlete.
ReplyDeleteCongrats!! I'm so happy for you!
ReplyDeleteAwesome news! I knew you were leaning in that direction. In fact, I thought sure this was the year. Then with everything that happened within the last couple months, I was like, yep ... the time is NOW! Congrats. I can't wait to hear all about it. And don't worry about running, you have the rest of your life to run but you only have 9 months to grow this lil one. That's your current priority..
ReplyDeleteA new MOTHER RUNNER!!! Yeah! Congrats Kelly!
ReplyDeleteIll go jogging stroller shopping with you :)
ReplyDeleteRight now I'm just listening to my body. I'm enjoying walking more than running so I just run occasionally. Hence, why I haven't been out with the FNRC in weeks! Lol. It was a hard mental hump for me to get over at first, but once I stood back and looked at it from a different perspective, I have forever to run. I don't have forever to have kids. (Not to mention, the longer I wait, the slower my age group qualifying time for Boston becomes... HAHA). Thanks for the support!
ReplyDeleteCongrats! It feels like so many people are pregnant!
ReplyDeleteThanks! This is usually the time that all those December conceptions are announced! Lol.
ReplyDeleteYay!! Huge congrats to you and your family! How is pepper handling this news? :)
ReplyDelete*go ahead and turn your blog into a pregnancy blog. I'd love to read it!!
Congrats!! Do you have running shoes for Baby Wilson yet? :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks! Pepper still has no idea what is in store for her. I know there are lots of tips on how to get a dog ready to be at home with a baby so we may need to do some prep work. Lol.
ReplyDeleteAnd it probably will turn into a pregnancy blog anyways, so I'm glad you'll enjoy reading along! :)
Yay!! Again Congrats! I love the preggo picture of you! You are adorable!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!!!
ReplyDeleteYay! Congrats!!!! I am excited to follow your journey. I love hearing all the pregnancy details. The human body is fascinating!
ReplyDeleteWoo hoo! Congrats chica! That is so exciting and I will def be interested to read about your pregger running.
ReplyDeletePost about your pregnancy. It is such a great time, and it is your blog. =) I'm just so happy for you.
ReplyDeleteCongrats again Kelly! I am so excited for you!! I know Jill told you, but we thought you might be!! :-)
ReplyDeleteCongrats Kelly! I'm excited to read about your journey!
ReplyDeleteCongrats!!
ReplyDeleteYou are one heck of a secret keeper! Good job :-)
ReplyDeleteHaha, thanks! I was secretly taking notes during your consultation too on how I could convert the concepts to maternity wear. ;) The rule of 3 is something I've started incorporating and I just feel more put together with 3 pieces!
ReplyDeleteEven though I knew this post was coming, the way you built it up kind of brought tears to my eyes! Obviously, I'm very excited for you :) And go ahead and talk about pregnancy! Especially as it relates to running. And be honest! Don't sugar coat it.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much! You're so sweet! I usually post what I want to write about anyways, so it is good to see that there are many folks that will be along for the ride! I'm excited to share my journey! I don't really have a history of sugar coating things so I'll try to keep that going.
ReplyDeleteHOORAY!!!!
ReplyDeleteWow, congrats that is such exciting news. You will be such a cute prego!
ReplyDeleteThat photo is adorable! Baby Wilson should hang until 9/27 and we'll be birthday buddies. :) Congrats!
ReplyDeleteYou never know with the first one! It could be early or late! :) Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!! I am so excited for you & hubby!
ReplyDeleteI want to hear more! And won't stop reading if you do turn this isn't a pregnancy blog. It's your life and we're all so excited for you! :)
ReplyDeleteCongratulatios!!!!
ReplyDeleteOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! I am so very excited for you!!!!! You can still run, just take it EASY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteFINALLY I CAN COMMENT!! You are one of THREE friends announcing pregnancies today! What event caused all these babies?? Either way, congrats!! I had a sneaking suspicion that this would be the year for you. Unofficial ragnar mascot - Baby DUB!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!!!! I didn't put all of that together, which is kind of surprising since I know so many pregnant gals right now! And I think all of our blogs evolve over time, so it'd make sense that Baby Wilson be a big part of yours :)
