For those of you that have seen me walking around town, you've probably noticed some new kicks on my feet. I've been sporting the Mizuno Wave Rider 15s that Mizuno sent me to test out!
They definitely stand out in a crowd and are super comfortable. The Wave Riders are in the Moderate/Neutral range.
What does this mean for you?!
The folks at Mizuno have donated a pair of the Mizuno Wave Rider 15 Limited Edition shoes for me to raffle off!
Here is a little bit about the Wave Rider (taken directly from Mizuno's website)
What makes Wave Rider 15 different?
By combining the best qualities of every Wave Rider that came before it, Mizuno has created its masterpiece with the Wave Rider 15. While the pendulum in running may swing from one extreme to another, the genius of the Wave Rider 15 is found through its harmonious balance of a lightweight feel, wrapped-to-foot fit and exquisitely smooth ride, ultimately producing a brilliant running experience.
And here is a video from Jason Lewis at Mizuno USA talking about the Wave Rider 15.
I guess the main question at this point is...
What do you have to do to win this sweet pair of kicks?
Just like all of my other raffles, donate to my charity, Open Heart Magic, by CLICKING HERE. Every $5 donation = 1 entry into the raffle. ($5 = 1 entry, $10 = 2 entries, $15 = 3 entries, etc.)
Those that have donated to this raffle (or any previous raffle) can gain additional raffle entries if you:
1) like Running Kellometers on Facebook
2) blog about the raffle
3) tweet about the raffle (@kellywils0n)
If you do any of the items mentioned above, please leave a comment letting me know so I can be sure to include the additional entries! (If you have any questions please leave a comment or send me an email!)
Entries will be accepted until 9am (CST) on Monday, April 2 and the winner will be announced that same day.
Best of luck to all those entering!
Cool....I hope this is still open friday when I get paid :) and I am confused - have you been running in the wrong shoe?!?!?

ReplyDeleteHi Michelle! Thanks for coming to my blog and liking me on Facebook. If you're interested in a chance to win the shoes, a minimum $5 donation to Open Heart Magic is required for entry into the raffle. (The Facebook like is for an additional entry into the raffle.) ReplyDeleteI'm new to your blog, found you through Skinny Runner. I think it's fantastic that you're fundraising for such a great cause. I made a contribution to help and hope you meet your goal. I'm sure you will. Looking foward to "getting to know you"
ReplyDeleteThanks Debra! I greatly appreciate your generosity!
ReplyDeleteWhat up Kelly! I am glad to have been able to hear about your charity from SR! (And let's be honest, the Mizunos, too...) Just wanted to let you know I donated $20 on your charity site, liked your page on FB and blogged about you (see it here at rjandmadi.blogspot.com). As much as I want to win this raffle I also want to wish you the best of luck reaching your $500 goal and running the race!
ReplyDeleteI was completely elated when Mizuno agreed to donate a pair of shoes for this worthy cause. I'm especially excited that a great runner like SR was able to post about it on her blog! Thanks for stopping by to check out my blog and for donating to Open Heart Magic! I just read your blog post and best of luck with the bundle of joy on the way too!
ReplyDeleteP.S. I'm actually taking a trip down to New Orleans next week! Looking forward to spending some time in the great NOLA, USA! :)
OMG I would totally take you on a run but, uh, that might not work out this time ;) Have you been to NOLA before? If not I can tell you exactly what not to miss. (Leonardo DiCaprio is here by my friend's house filming a movie and she stalks him on the daily!) And if you get a chance go running along the levee. It's the best experience. Have fun on your trip!
ReplyDeleteSo glad to have found your blog (through SR). What a great charity to raise for, best of luck. I donated and "liked" you on FB. I hope one comment is okay!
ReplyDeleteThanks Amanda! Yes, one comment is fine. I greatly appreciate your donation!
ReplyDeleteI think its great that you are doing a raffle to raise money for your Miles for Magic team! I donated, tweeted and blogged about this!
ReplyDeleteGreat, thanks Blakely! I greatly appreciate your generosity!!
ReplyDeletewhat a great cause, i just donated. my friend sara (who you ran the lucky half with) told me about your blog. i'm actually been wanting to try mizuno shoes, my last few pairs have been brooks but i think i'm going to branch out for the next pair.
ReplyDeletei also 'liked' you on fb :)
good luck in the half this weekend!
Thanks Keren for your donation! And thanks to Sara for the shoutout! These shoes are really comfy. Best of luck!
ReplyDeleteYes, I've been to NOLA before, but am always open to suggestions. Last time I went running in New Orleans, I just stayed by the French Quarter because I didn't want to stray too far from our hotel. I just ran up and down the streets to get in my 3 miles. The levee sounds very pretty and hopefully we'll get the chance to run by there this time! What are some of your "not miss" places?
ReplyDeleteI donated and think this is a wonderful idea! Best of luck with your fundraising!
ReplyDeleteI also like you on FB =)
ReplyDeleteI tweeted about the raffle!
