This is the first time they ever met. Patsy was 5 months old and Layla was 3 months old. Aren't they so adorable! This was my attempt at taking photos of two constantly moving children. I think I have a future in photography. Amiright?

Spartan August 2014 |
This past weekend we took our babies for another great stroller run.
Outfit: Oiselle tank, vintage. shorts: Oiselle Lori shorts in Brill Blue |
It was super mega adorable! They ran while holding hands yet refused to share a mere morsel of food with one another. It was such a blast to share our hobby and passion with our girls.

I mean, how can you not fall in love with these cuties?
I really look forward to completing a 5k in the future, while having Miss Patsy participate in the kids race! I should probably start looking into that. If anyone has any suggestions in the southwest suburbs, let me know!
Love the pics. Awww! It is so cool that you guys are able to do stroller runs together and then your kids can play together afterwards!
ReplyDeleteThey are the cutest!!
ReplyDeleteSo adorable!
ReplyDeleteSo much cute in this post...my goodness! Adorable little gals! At what age did you start running with Patsy in the jogging stroller? I really want to do it with Bryce but don't want to start too early! We should do a roundup of stroller-friendly races in the Chicago burbs, come to think of it!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much!
ReplyDeleteI had a C Section with Patsy so I was cleared to run after 6 weeks. However, my body felt "off" for awhile afterwards. I probably started running with the stroller around 10-12 weeks PP. The infant carseat attachment is SO HEAVY and you don't realize it until you take it off around 6-7 months when they can sit up unassisted. Kind of like resistance training!
Keep me posted if you find any stroller-friendly races!
Thanks!
