Baby Wilson: 37 Weeks -- Full Term!

How far along? 37 weeks – Full term!
Baby’s size/development this week: weighs 6 1/3 pounds and measures over 19 inches long; about the size of a head of a winter melon or a bunch of swiss chard. I don’t regularly eat either of these vegetables so this isn't really a great comparison.
Maternity clothes: wearing them? Ye, although many of them are stretched to capacity….
Miss anything? Maneuvering easily
Food cravings? None
Anything making you queasy or sick? Some people really have to lay off the amount cologne to wear. Seriously.
Sleep: Meh, this has not been great. The night sweats continue and I usually get up in the middle of the night either to go to the bathroom or because I’m uncomfortable. Then, I can’t get comfortable so I’m just up. Usually pretty early no matter what day of the week it is.
Best moment of the week: My doctor’s appointment when I got to hear Baby’s heartbeat again! Also, I found out that I’m starting to dilate. My body is prepping and getting ready for Baby Wilson’s arrival!
Nursery: Items are put together, the room is painted, the furniture is now painted. It is just a matter of organizing and final prep!
Wedding rings on or off? on
Movement? Shoves, jabs, and rolls. Baby wants to get out!
Weird pregnancy thing of the week: I've been feeling some Braxton Hicks contractions which are super fun. At least that’s a sign that my body is getting ready to deliver!
Daddy is feeling: Excited and scared
Mommy is feeling: The same as Dad.
Workouts this week: Continued walking, although this morning I felt particularly sluggish. I just didn't feel like moving. I still have a few weeks left to go! Let’s hope today is just an off day. :)
Looking forward to: BABY'S ARRIVAL!!!

  1. Whoa, it does sound like you're about ready to have that baby! I hope the next few weeks go smoothly, and you get plenty of rest and relaxation while you still can :)

Ugh, and I hear you on too much cologne! I don't know if you were sensitive to that before you were pregnant, but that always bothers me. Especially if I'm running by someone wearing too much, it makes me a gag a little. How do people not know they're drenched in it?

So exciting! Have you guys got your line up of names together?

  3. Thanks! I also hope the next few weeks go by smoothly. I feel like time flew by in the third trimester and now I'm just taking it day-by-day until the end!

The cologne thing didn't really bother me as much before the pregnancy, but I honestly wonder how some people don't realize how much they put on!

  4. Yes, we have some girl and boy names lined up but we are not 100% sure one one or the other yet. We are going to wait until we meet him/her first. :)

  5. Gosh lady time is flying by! You look amazing and happy. 3 weeks to go!!! Wahoo :)

  6. It doesn't seem like that long ago that we made our announcement, yet at the same time, it feels like AGES ago! I am so excited for our little babe to arrive. I'm anxious to find out if we're having a boy or girl! :)

Awww, can't wait to see the little one! I'll be sending you positive vibes for an easy delivery!

  8. I still can't believe it! You look so amazing. I cannot wait to hear the news! And, will you post nursery pics?

You look so great and happy!! I feel like I was just posting about being full term - how is possible that you are???

Ugh on Braxton Hicks. They are my nemesis.

  10. Thanks! Yes, I plan on taking some nursery pics this weekend. We still need to put a few finishing touches together, but we are getting close to having it complete!

  11. Thanks! I was just tweeting with a fellow pregnant friend that pregnancy is both a short and long journey all at the same time. I can't believe our little babe will be here so soon! I'm super excited to find out if it will be a girl or boy! :)

  12. Ahh! Stay in Baby Wilson! I still need to feel a kick before you are delivered! LOL! :)
